Bhumi Rasa Coconut Cooking Oil is made from quality coconuts harvested from of indigenous (non-hybrid) age-old coconut trees that are naturally grown in the tropical island of Celebes (Sulawesi).
It is produced naturally from the cold-pressed of fresh coconut meat (not from copra) using centrifuge action and processed without RBD (refining, bleaching and deodorizing). The strong coconut aroma has been removed using vacuuming action, allowing the oil to be absolutely neutral and suitable for all-purpose cooking. This means you can enjoy the health benefits of coconut oil without spoiling the flavor of your dishes. It can be used as a healthy substitute to butter and margarine, or even to olive oil.
Bhumi Rasa Coconut Cooking Oil contains up to 50%. Lauric Acid and as any other coconut oil it provides high source of vitamin E and is cholesterol free. The lauric acid is an important essential fatty acid in building and maintaining the body’s immune system and thus can be used for antibacterial, antimicrobial, antivirus, antifungal and antioxidant therapy.
It is a safe edible oil for diabetics, can be use for treating constipation and other digestive problems. The medium fatty acids (MCFA) contained in coconut oil help to increase metabolism. It is not stored in the body as fat, but is immediately converted into pure clean-burn energy, thus it does not raised cholesterol level.
Our Coconut Oil is perfect for frying, baking, salad oil or even to be consumed directly as daily supplement. This oil has a high smoking point (about 270˚C), which until such point the heat do not alter its chemical structures, allowing the oil to be used repeatedly. As any other coconut oil, this oil will also solidified below the temperature of 24˚C
