The Buttermilk Pancake mix makes delicious light and fluffy pancakes that are also nut free. The mix is packed in an easy to use shaker bottle.

Ingredients:
Maize starch, maize flour, sugar, buttermilk (4.5%), whole egg powder, whey (from milk), raising agents , vegetable oil, mineral salt, iodised salt, thickener.
Preparation:
- Shake bottle to loosen dry mix.
- Take off lid but don’t discard.
- Add 1 cup (280ml) of water or fill bottle with water to level indicated and replace lid. ake for 1 more minute.
- Shake bottle well for 1 minute. Remove lid, add lid again and shake for further 1 minute.
- Preheat fry pan and grease well.
- Pour batter into frypan and cook over medium heat for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown. Turn over to cook the other side. Remove from pan.
- Makes 12 x 8cm pancakes.
Serving Suggestion: Delicious if served with honey jam, butter or maple syrup.
